My Girl (마이걸; Mai geol) is a korean drama produced by SBS. With a funny and light, and good stroy this drama series was a hit both in Korea and in the Philipines.

Story and Characters

Lee Dong Wook as Seol Gong-chan

Lee dong Wook here plays the role of Seol Gong Chan who is the next heir of the business of the Seol Family. Lee Dong Wook's character here is rich-snob-cute-intellectual type of guy hehehe...

Lee Da Hae as Joo Yoo-rin

Lee Da Hae plays the vivacious and beautiful Yu-rin who works as a part-time tourist guide to support his gambler father and pay off her father's debts; and she can speak chinese and Japanese very fluently. Her character there is really a funny and cute one. As Joo yoou ein, she always likes to lie about things.

Lee Joon Ki as Seo Jung-woo

The drama also became succesful because of the appearance of the popular and hot actor Lee Joon Ki who plays the role of Seo Jung Woo, a spoiled-rich-son who later falls in love with the character of Lee Da Hae.

Park Shi Yeon as Kim Sae Hyun

The beautiful Park Shi Yeon plays the role of Seol Gong Chan's ex-girlfriend who tries to win him back.Kim Sae Hyun is a famous international tennis player and later on she paved the way for the secret of Seol Gong Chan and Joo Yoo rin to come out.

This drama series is one of my favorite korean drama series ever. Aside from the funny and light drama, the characters also fit to the roles they portrayed.

The story started where Joo Yoo Rin's character was revealed. A buubly and a girl who can almost do anything to survive.

She tried to ran away from the gang becuase her father couldnt pay off the debt. Thats when the time she met Seol Gong Chan, a hotel executive who was looking for a fluent interpreter.

That time Seol Gong Chan's grandfather was in a critical condition. Gong chan was forced to find his cousin. Unfortunately the present time constraint wouldnt allow him, thats when he saw Joo yoo rin and asked her to pretend as his cousin.

So Joo Yoo Rin and Seol Gong Chan made a funny relationship as cousins. Gong Chan's grandfather recovered from his illness because of Yoo rin's help. The grandfather was also fond of Yoo rin thats why he wanted Yoo rin to date Seo Jung Woo,a close family friend.

This drama is primarily known in Japan as Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (花ざかりの君たちへ, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e? Lit. "For You in Full Blossom") is a shōjo manga series written by Hisaya Nakajo.            

Hanazakarino Kimitachihe (traditional Chinese: 花樣少年少女; simplified Chinese: 花样少年少女; pinyin: Huāyàng shàonián shàonǚ)is a Taiwanese drama produced by and first aired on CTS and GTV.

Plot and Characters

Lu Rui Xi (盧瑞希) (Ella Chen; based on Mizuki Ashiya)

Ella here plays the main character, Lu Rui xi. She's very cute in this role, a very determined girl who tries to pursue Wu Zhun' dreams and also Wu Zhun himself.

Zuo Yi Quan (左以泉) (Wu Chun; based on Izumi Sano)

The male lead character, who is a school athlete. He is usually quiet but defends the people he loves.

Jin Xiu Yi(金秀伊) (Jiro Wang; based on Shuichi Nakatsu)

Ying Kai's soccer star. He falls in love and begins to question his sexuality when Rui Xi arrives.

Mei Tian(梅田) (Tang Zhi Ping; based on Hokuto Umeda)

He is gay and is the school doctor. He serves as Rui Xi's counselor and guardian after knowing the whole truth about Rui Xi.

This drama series is one of my favorite taiwanese series after Meteor Garden. When I first started watching the show, I thought it was an ordinary taiwanese drama i would watch but i would not appreciate so much. But I was very wrong, its kinda addicting hehe...Especially the tandem of wu zun and ella. I dont know if its a magic or something but whenever the two characters Wu Zhun and Ella smiles toe cah other or even just a cute- heart-warming talk, I feel so excited. There is a certain chemistry between these two that makes everyone yearn for another episode. There are just too many funny and romantic scenes that you dont want to miss. The role played by jiro wang is also cute and funny. This hana kimi version is vry different from hana kimi japan. Based on my own opinio, the taiwanese version has done a good job in interpreting the manga and setting their own version.
